My husband and I ate here for lunch as he was given vouchers as a gift. The staff were very helpful and the chef went out of his way to cook a vegetarian, gluten free meal for me. The food was beautifully presented, very tasty and excellent value. We will certainly visit again – especially as the restaurant is within walking distance!Nesto69
I have eaten here about six or seven times and it has always been superb service and amazing food. The restaurant isn’t very large, isn’t open every day and book is a very good idea. There is an a la carte menu as well as a set lunch. Both are fantastic, but unsurprisingly, the set menu is cheaper. Wine isn’t over-priced and I have yet to make it to dessert as the complimentary breads and pickles brought out at the beginning of the meal plus starter and main course, are usually more than adequate. This is probably my favourite restaurant.
This is the sort of place you would expect to find in a gentrified seaside resort, Brighton or some such, but is placed in a picturesque English village. Smart, modern decor, friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent, a good menu. Loved the oysters Rockefeller…I totally recommend this place. It scores highly against other sea foodie places, good good good!
